FREE job-search, self-marketing and employer-matching
services are available to help Ottawa youth gain access to valuable employment
experiences, some of which will be remembered for years to come.
The program provides
eligible organizations and businesses in Ontario with a $2 per hour
wage subsidy. Employers may receive this wage subsidy for 350 hours
within a period of up to 16 weeks.
Students
aged 15 to 24 years (up to 29, for persons with disabilities)
may register.
Students
must be planning on returning to school in the Fall.
Students
must be a resident of Ontario and eligible to work in Canada.
