This workshop is a 2 hour session designed to give young people a variety of tools, resources, and approaches that have been shown to be effective methods and techniques for identifying potential employers.

Subject areas covered include networking approaches, cold contact techniques, use of Job Banks, Internet tools and resources, funded employment support programs, use of employment and placement agencies, self-employment, internships, co-ops, and volunteering, among others.

Effective cover letter and resume writing are discussed within this context as well. All aspects of the material are brought together with a view to encouraging the development of a strategic, coordinated, and highly organized "campaign" approach to the job search process as a whole.
