Duties - Tâches et responsabilités:
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Service Advisor.Responsibilities:

Welcome customers in a friendly and timely manner and obtain information about their vehicle servicing needs.
Diagnose the cause of any vehicle malfunction and coordinate the repair procedure in a timely manner.
Explain the nature of the work to be performed
Prepare a detailed and accurate estimate of the cost of labour and parts.
Take into account previous checkups, inspections of the vehicle and recommend any additional repairs required.
Inform customers of all promotions and services provided by the dealership.
Verify warranty coverage on the vehicle to be repaired before work order is placed.
Accurately record the vehicle problem experienced by the customer on the repair order.
Determine the time frame for completion of the work; verify this with the shop dispatcher, if necessary.
Ensure the customer signs and agrees to the work order.
Determine the payment method. Obtain a credit approval, if necessary.
Distribute tasks to the service technicians.
Check on progress of repairs throughout the day.
Contact customer if there is any change in the estimate or the time frame for completion of the work.
Examine the repair orders, to ensure that the work has been completed and that they indicate any additional repairs and authorizations required.
Close the work orders, in keeping with established procedures.
Drive vehicles in and out of service bay, when required.
Assist co-workers with additional tasks, based on requirements.
 
Required skills - Compétences requises:
Must have automotive experience and strong knowledge of automobiles.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
High degree of attention to detail
Integrity, reliability and capable of working in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task.
Work with minimal supervision.
Adapt and respond quickly to changing demands.
Applicants must have a valid driver s license and provide a driver s abstract.
Operate manual transmission.
Meet Turpin s professionalism and dress code.
Bilingual is an asset.
 
Pay Rate - Salaire/ taux horaire:
Wage - $10.00 per hour

schedule: Available to work Monday to Friday 8:00am 6:00pm and available for Saturday rotations - 7:30am to 5:00pm

comments: Must have own transportation, as there is no public transit to our site in Kanata Palladium Auto Park.
