duties: Specifically in the area of Software Design, the successful candidate will be involved in the design and integration of capabilities into Entrust s security products. This position requires the candidate to utilize both team and individual skills, understand product architecture, system & algorithm designs used within a security system, creating functional designs and implementing through coding, design test, and defect resolution.

This role will challenge the successful candidate to hone their software development skills keeping in mind the quality, scalability and robustness required for an integrated security solution and product being readied for market.


skills: Education, Experience, and Specialized Skills

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
Objective C, C/C++ programming skills, Java and J2EE architectures
Exposure to Macintosh OS X technologies such as CDSA would be an asset
Web application development
Database familiarity would be an asset
Linux skills and an understanding of Open Source Development environment/tools
Experience writing secure, multi-threaded applications
Familiarity with XCODE, Vise X, source control, bug tracking and other software development tools
Good organizational, interpersonal and communications (verbal, written, presentation) skills
Thrives in a small development team or independently, and is highly detailed oriented
