WHMIS Online Certification (Online)

Time: Regular Business Hours

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) provides you with the essential knowledge to identify and prevent workplace hazards, no matter the environment. A great addition to your resume.

This training is done online, and the cost is $35.00 (cash only). Free for eligible Job Connect clients. No appointment necessary, drop on in to any one of our 3 locations across the city of Ottawa. Please check the Contact Us page for the closest office.

  

Smart Serve Certification (online)
Location: Various Locations
Time: Regular Business Hours

Smart Serve Certification is mandatory to serve alcohol in the hospitality industry.

The on-line course covers:
- facts about alcohol
- how alcohol works in the body
- signs of intoxication
- legal rights and responsibilities
- civil liability
- types of licenses
- prevention and intervention techniques
- house policies
- risk assessment
